This weekend is looking a little grim, with tiny swell doing nothing to combine with the favourable wind conditions. The SW wind forecast for Sunday might bring some wind waves with it. Good luck to the guys and girls running the King of the Point this weekend, there ain’t gonna be much. 😬
Monday sees an improvement, with a bump in swell and SE winds. Tuesday is the day, however, with all-day offshore winds and enough swell to make something happen on the Scarborough sandbanks which have recently started stirring following a long summer aestivation. The offshore winds should hang around for the following days, but the swell begins to fall from Wednesday onwards. Plenty of opportunity for beginners, and a few promising days for those looking to rip the lid off a couple. Get out there! 🌊

Also this weekend The Surf Life Saving Championships will be help all day on the 16th and 17th. It`s the pinnacle of the season for the athletes and a chance showcase their competitive skills against members from all clubs! 🌊

The last week of Feb into March gave us some good weather and a few days of fun surf with a few good banks forming along the north part of Scarborough into trigg.
