Does your child love to collect nature stuff? Kids get to create paints and make sculptures from nature as we explore how to create art using materials from nature. Kids will complete up to four projects such as designing a straw animal and learning how to make twine.
This will be a fun, creative day that will keep your kids engaged for the whole day. While they are developing their fine motor skills, they will discover that working with natural materials requires patience and persistence. We will explore the different emotions that come with learning. This workshop will develop your children’s creativity and perseverance skills that will support learning in other parts of their life. Each child will bring home a worksheet that will give you strategies to help support their emotions so that you have a guide for how to help your child without taking over.
At the end of this class, kids will be left feeling creatively fulfilled, and armed with new skills Your child will also get to take home all their final pieces.

What to bring
Kids need to bring a water bottle, morning tea, a nut-free lunch and their imagination. BYO a willingness to try learn from mistakes! Dress for mess, aprons provided.
Suitable for
This is a fun indoor activity, suitable for kids (minimum 6 years old). Adult accompaniment is not required.
