Join us at Art Space for a free workshop making Wool God’s Eye artwork! Come be part of a vibrant community art installation at Groundswell Festival these School Holidays!

As part of the Groundswell Festival, the Artspace Collective will host a fabulous FREE God’s Eye workshops at The Art Space Collective HQ. All are welcome! Drop in anytime between 1pm & 3pm

Participants will be guided by artists from the Artspace Collective to create their own God’s Eye artworks using wool and sticks. The artworks created in the workshop will be fixed to a stake in the ground and put out for a display at the Groundswell Festival, creating a stunning ‘field’ of vibrancy!

Head down to Groundswell Festival to see if you can spot your artwork! They’ll be ready for you to collect and keep after the festival.

God’s eyes’ are woven objects originally made by the Huichol people of Mexico. The symbolism is primarily associated with providing a watchful eye and protecting people against future uncertainties. The ends of the sticks represent the elements – earth, water, wind and fire, as well as the four directions – north, south, east and west. Our field of colourful god’s eyes will offer messages of positive energy to people at the Groundswell festival.
