What is Modern Calligraphy?

Modern Calligraphy is decorative handwriting or handwritten lettering that is free and not rigid like its traditional counterparts. It can be achieved using different mediums such as nibs (dipped into ink), brush pens or watercolour brushes.

What will you learn?

You will walk through the worksheets with Flo and learn the basic strokes used in modern calligraphy and focuses on improvement, which translates into letters and words. Armed with basic foundations, knowledge and understanding, you will be able to develop your own beautiful style.

Materials

Materials Flo believes are the best for learning brush calligraphy will be provided. They are for you to use at the workshop and take home to practice. You will take with you ‘Flow with Me’ worksheets (over 20 pages of information) and two different brush pens.
