Perth Beach OCR @ Scarborough Beach

Presented by the City of Stirling, Perth Beach OCR (Obstacle Course Race) is making history as the inaugural event held at Scarborough Beach and Amphitheatre

Brace yourself for a fusion of obstacles, a fun festival vibe, and a bustling vendor village. This experience is tailored for fitness enthusiasts, adventure seekers, and fun seeking crew!

The Ultimate Challenge Awaits:

  • Epic Course: Run, Walk or Hop across mixed terrains – beach, shared paths, and scenic trails. Starting at the amphitheater on the foreshore, the course winds through Trigg trails back along the famous West Coast Highway run path and concludes with a finish back in the amphitheater.
  • Obstacles: Conquer 20 obstacles, including the daring 6m high A-Frame, Ninja Grip Alley, Military Walls, Crawls, Climbs, and Carries across 5kms

Wave Take-Offs and Ticketing:

  • Waves: Commencing from 8 AM, waves will head off every 10 minutes throughout the day. Reserve your spot early as waves will sell out fast!
  • Exclusive Access: Your ticket grants entry to the event and crossing the finish line guarantees you the coveted finisher medal.
  • Dynamic Zones: Experience warm-up zones by The Community Bootcamp Project

Festival Vibes:

  • Vendor Village: Explore nutrition, clothing, equipment, and indulge in delectable treats from food and drink trucks.
  • Ninja Academy – Warped Wall! Can you make it to the top?
  • Music and Entertainment: DJs provided by the team at The Lookout and MCs will keep the atmosphere charged, while mini-golf on the upper lawn promises fun for all ages!
  • Massage, Physio and Chiro: The teams at Valetudo and Peak Performance Institute will be at your service
  • Recovery: The Dope will be in the house with their premium icebaths
  • Nutrition: Elite Supps front of house serving up the goodies to fuel and refresh you pre and post race
  • After Party: The official event after party will be held at The Lookout . The team there will have lunch specials from 12pm, Drink specials from 5pm and skip the cue for participants with event wristbands and VIP lanyards.

  • VIP Area: Limited tickets for a gated VIP area with special amenities. Get access to the premium area with added extra…….. and more!
  • Trek4Vets: Weighted Vest wave
  • Competitive Race: Witness the showdown at 3PM as athletes compete fiercely for podium positions after a day of taking on the course yourself.
  • Search4Hurt TV: Watch as contestants from around Australia take on the course in a head to head battle.

Supporting a Cause:

  • Non Profit Partner: Trek4Vets is dedicated to enhancing the lives of military veterans’ post-deployment. Part of ticket proceeds supports their noble cause.

Event Recommendations:

  • Facilities: Toilets, Showers, bag checks $5, hydration stations, and first aid services will be available.
  • Age Limit: Participants must be 12 years or older to hit the course.
  • Team bookings can be done by individual registration and picking your wave time

  • Ninja Academy: They are at the forefront of Ninja Warrior-style training and competition in Australia, and offer a variety of group classes to help adults recapture their youth and empower their lives.
  • Dubbel: DUBBEL is a tailored health and fitness system designed to help anybody reach their health and fitness goals. With elite athletes and exercise scientists as coaches, we understand how to make your body perform at it’s absolute best.
  • The Community Bootcamp Project: The Community Bootcamp Project is a non-profit venture that is bringing Australians together through fitness to improve our physical health, mental wellbeing, and social connection. Running every Saturday across WA. These bootcamps are free to join and broken into 4 x 15 minute blocks.

Plan Your Arrival:

  • Limited Parking: Carpooling, ride-sharing, or public transport are recommended due to limited parking. Consider hiring a bus for your crew!

  • Shuttle Services: A temporary car park at Deanmore Reserve will operate with a shuttle bus service every 30 minutes, supporting Destiny Rescue through gold coin donations.
