The Speedy Sloth – Auslan Storytime to celebrate National Simultaneous Storytime
Now in its 23rd successful year, National Simultaneous Storytime (NSS) is held annually by the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA). Every year a picture book, written and illustrated by an Australian author and illustrator, is read simultaneously in libraries, schools, pre-schools, childcare centres, family homes, bookshops and many other places around the country.
This year, Stirling Libraries will read The Speedy Sloth by Rebecca Young and Heath McKenzie, an inspiring story to celebrate all winners … especially those who don’t come first!
This story will be signed in Auslan and simultaneously read aloud by a Librarian.
